Observers Praise Conduct of Polls  5 March 2013

The press release 5 March 2013 by the IEBC Kenya. “…  An international observer group has termed the conduct of the Kenyan general elections as free and fair as vote counting and tallying continues countrywide.”  The press release quotesa preliminary report by the Comesa, EAC and IGAD Observer Mission congratulating the people of Kenya for holding peaceful elections. “Though there have been challenges relating to verification of voter, the Mission concludes that the 2013 General Elections met regional, continental and international standards for credible and transparent elections. “
