UK Holidays Suspended To Kenya – 3 January 2008

UK Tour operators have put Holidays to Kenya on hold based on advise from the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office. Those travelling to Kenya need to contact their tour operators. This will seriously dent Kenya’s tourist industry and also put the conservation work in the national parks and game reserves at risk. This is one of the peak visitor period. Most tourists were unaffected by the post -election violence, but there has been growing concerns as the situation is still fluid. Over 200, 000 visitors from the UK visit Kenya every year. End
