The Questions of Nominations To Parliament - Erik Wamanji in Nairobi - The Standard, 2 January 2008. This is another interesting article from the Standard (Nairobi) by Erik Wamanji. It looks at likely tactics President Kibaki may use to strengthen his PNU party's depleted number in the 10th Kenya Parliament,
by using the 12 seats reserved for MPs nominated to Kenya's Parliament. It has the view points from different political analysts - Joseph Magut, Kimani Njogu to name a few. Ot concludes with the statement ' Kenyans should brace themselves for one of the most acrimonious Parliaments in their history.' |
