Excerpt of Ken Opala’s interview with Josette Sheeran, Executive Director of the World Food Programme during her visit to Kenya, April 2008. 'WFP boss sounds alarm over food crisis amid rising cost of key goods'.

They have hopes and dreams. They want to be pilots, doctors. They inspire me. The world needs them’. The interview provides an update to the now familiar word in the Kenyan Lexicon – Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) and their unfortunate situation, her views/perceptions of Kenya and how Africa can deal with the issue of ‘Food Insecurity’.
