Let’s Use Our Diversity to Strengthen Kenya, President Kenyatta Urges Politicians

Presidential Strategic Communications Unit (PSCU), State House, Nairobi 26 November 2017.

Kenya’s President Kenyatta has asked politicians to use the country’s diversity for the national good instead of abusing personal gains. The article covers President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto at a Thanksgiving Service (for being declared winners of the re-run October Presidential election). The service was held at the Redeemed Gospel Church in Nairobi officiated by Archbishop Arthur Kitonga. President Kenyatta outlines his two key responsibilities to Kenyans 1 Peace 2 Ensure the unity of all Kenyans the foundation if the development Kenyans seeks. What stands out is the comment by Deputy President Willam Ruto that he was in Church with the President to fulfil a covenant that is if He (meaning God) grants them victory they will glorify Him.

Amen? (Even if you loose you should still Glorify Him?)
