Kenya was featured on the BBC’s Consumer rights programme BBC Watchdog 30 January – 5 February 2008 on BBC 1 television. The story featured
a recently married couple who are fighting to get redress for cancelling their holiday to Kenya due to the post elections violence. The couple were due to fly out on 31 December 2007.
The couple were due to fly out on 31 December 2007.
Another couple who were due to wed in February cancelled their trip and were fortunate to be offered a full refund or an alternative destination. Both couples and the presenters felt extremely sad for the people of Kenya.
