Kibaki Invites MPs to State House – KBC 3 January 2008

A extremely short statement wriiten by Judy Maina, KBC – 2 January 2008.
‘President Mwai Kibaki on Wednesday invited all newly elected Members of parliament to State House, Nairobi.Government spokesperson Dr. Alfred Mutua said the president had invited the MPs at State House.’

Note: State House can be described as Kenya’s equivalent to the White House in the US, that is, the President’s Official residence. Please note the alternative reports covered by The Nation and The Standard on the 3 January 2008. Their reporters were not allowed access to the meeting.
