‘Learn the lesson of the past to build a better future now.’ Liverpool Europe’s City of Culture 2008 is the host city for the Holocaust Remembrance Day 2008.
Further information can be found on the Holocaust Remembrance Day Trust website. The BBC Liverpool 8 website has a talk (video clip) between the Bishop of Liverpool James Jones and Rabbi Malcolm Malits something to reflect on. There are exhibitions and activities including one called Respectacles at the Liverpool Town Hall.
