The BBC evening News in the UK headlined with the situation in Naivasha, Kenya and a report by Adam Mynott East Africa Correspondent. The report also showed Kofi Annan meeting members of the opposition in his attempt to mediate between the two political Kibaki and Raila camps.

Note: Naivasha is home to the flower farms and one of Kenya’s most important foreign exchange earner. Kenya supplies about a third of Europe’s cut flowers. It is also to number of leading environmentalist and artists.
